These dahlia flower beads have a really lovely quality to them. The 15mm pressed glass face is moulded with fine petal detail, and the champagne ivory lustre finish gives them a warm, softly glowing tone that sits somewhere between cream and pale gold. They're not stark white, and that's what makes them so versatile.

You get five beads per pack, each handmade by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, so there may be the tiniest variation between them. That's part of the charm rather than a flaw.

They work beautifully as feature beads in drop earrings, where the floral shape can really be seen.
