Czech Bird Beads 22x11mm, Set of Two (2) | Matte Emerald Green with a Rainbow Wash

These Czech glass bird beads are a real favourite here. Each one is 22x11mm, so a good generous size, and that matte emerald green has a beautiful depth to it. What makes them special is the rainbow wash, a subtle iridescent shimmer that shifts depending on the light and stops them from looking flat or plain. You get two beads in a set, which is just right for a pair of earrings, or you can use them as matching focal points on either end of a bracelet.

They are crafted by artisanal glassworkers in the Czech Republic, and the detail on the bird shape is really nicely done. The matte finish means they sit beautifully alongside other bohemian beads without competing, but they are distinctive enough to be the feature of a design on their own. They would look lovely paired with deep teal or forest green seed beads, or with earthy wooden or stone beads for a more rustic feel.
