Czech Dove Bird Beads 16x12mm | Red Copper Wash, Jewellery Making (Set of 4)

These little dove beads are a fairly new shape and honestly they are hard not to love. Each one is 16x12mm, made from Czech glass, and finished in a deep ruby red with a warm copper wash that gives them a beautiful rustic, burnished quality. You get four beads in a set, which is just right for a pair of earrings with a couple spare, or dotted along a bracelet for a bit of whimsy.

The copper wash catches the light in a really satisfying way, somewhere between vintage and bohemian, which makes them surprisingly versatile. They sit beautifully alongside other Czech pressed glass shapes, earthy gemstone chips, or warm-toned seed beads if you want to build up a fuller piece. They would also work well as a focal on a simple chain.

These are handcrafted by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, and the quality is just what you would expect from that tradition. A lovely little bead.
