Czech Glass Barrel Beads: Purple Amethyst with Bronze Finish (Set of 8, 11mm)

These are gorgeous little things. Each one is an 11mm special cut barrel bead in a rich purple amethyst glass with a warm bronze finish, handcrafted in the Czech Republic by artisan glassworkers. The faceted cut catches the light beautifully, and the bronze detailing gives them a vintage, almost antique feel that works just as well in a boho bracelet as it does in a more classic jewellery design.

You get eight beads in a set, which is a nice amount for a pair of earrings with beads to spare, or to use as repeat accents along a bracelet or necklace. They sit really well alongside other Czech glass pieces - think warm golds, deep teals, or even a soft blush rose for contrast. If you like a bead with a bit of drama to it without being too fussy, these are a solid choice. A proper little workhorse bead that looks far more expensive than it is.
