Czech Glass Bird Coin Beads: Beige Picasso Metallic Pink Detail (11mm, Pack of 5)

These are lovely little things. Each bead is 11mm, round and coin-shaped, in a warm beige Picasso finish with a delicate metallic pink bird design pressed into the surface. The Picasso treatment gives the base an earthy, slightly mottled quality that makes the pink detail really sing against it.

You get five beads per pack, all handcrafted by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, so there may be tiny variations between them. That is part of the charm rather than a flaw.

At 11mm they are a very versatile size. Pair them up for earrings, scatter them through a bracelet, or use them as feature beads on a longer necklace where the bird motif can really be appreciated up close. They sit beautifully alongside neutral tones, soft pinks and warm coppers, though they are quirky enough to hold their own against bolder colours too. A genuinely sweet bead that is hard to leave in the drawer.
