Czech Glass Fossil Coin Beads 18mm, Matte Aqua Blue and Gold (Set of 4)

These are four Czech glass fossil coin beads in a really lovely matte aqua blue and gold colourway. Each one is shaped like an ammonite or nautilus shell, with that satisfying spiral detail pressed right into the glass, and the matte finish gives them a softer, more earthy feel than you might expect from such a bold colour combination.

They measure approximately 18mm across and 4mm thick, with a single hole, so they sit beautifully as a focal bead on a necklace or as a chunky feature on a bracelet. The aqua and gold work particularly well alongside other bohemian beads - warm tones like terracotta or amber complement the gold, while turquoise or teal pieces carry through the blue.

Handmade by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, there may be very slight variations between beads, which is all part of their character. A genuinely versatile bead that gives a lot for its size.
