Czech Glass Hibiscus Flower Beads: Teal Green AB, Jewellery Making (12mm, Pack of 4)

These are Czech glass hibiscus flower beads in a lovely teal green with a rainbow AB finish that catches the light in the most satisfying way. Each bead is 12mm across, so they are a really useful size - not so large that they overwhelm a design, but big enough to carry a bit of detail and colour. You get four beads in a pack, which gives you a pair of matching earrings with a couple left over for a bracelet or a layered necklace.

The AB coating gives the green a subtle shifting quality, so the colour reads slightly differently depending on the light. It sits beautifully alongside other teal and peacock tones, and also works well as a pop of colour in a more neutral palette. These are made by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic and the pressed detail on the petals is crisp and well defined. A small bead that really does earn its place in a design.
