Czech Glass Melon Beads 8mm: Sapphire Blue Heavy Picasso, Gold Wash (Pack of 10)

These are 8mm fluted melon beads in a rich sapphire blue, finished with a heavy Picasso treatment and a warm gold wash that gives each one a beautifully rustic, aged quality. Because they are handcrafted, the Picasso finish varies slightly from bead to bead, which is part of what makes them so lovely to work with.

The fluted shape catches the light in a way a plain round bead simply does not, and the combination of deep blue with those earthy, golden tones works particularly well in bohemian or nature-inspired designs. They are a generous size for an 8mm bead, sitting nicely on the ear as a simple pair of earrings, or threaded along a bracelet where they add real texture and interest.

You receive ten beads per pack, made by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic. They pair beautifully with other Picasso-finish beads, wooden spacers, or metallic seed beads if you want to draw out the gold in the wash.
