Czech Glass Melon Beads: Periwinkle Blue with Gold Wash (8mm, Pack of 10)

These are lovely little things. Each bead is an 8mm fluted melon shape in a soft periwinkle blue, finished with a gold wash that catches the light and gives them a warmth you don't always find in blue beads. They're handcrafted in the Czech Republic, and that quality really does show in the neat, even fluting around each one.

You get ten beads in a pack, which is a nice amount to work with. They're a versatile size - small enough to use as spacers between larger focal beads, but with enough character to carry a simple pair of earrings on their own. They'd sit beautifully on a delicate bracelet, or strung together for a layering necklace with a boho feel.

The blue and gold combination is one of those classic pairings that goes with a lot, and the periwinkle tone in particular works well alongside warm golds, creams, and soft corals.
