Czech Glass Melon Beads, Pumpkin Yellow with Brown Wash (Set of 6)

These are lovely, chunky Czech glass melon beads in a warm pumpkin yellow, finished with a brown wash that settles into all the fluted grooves and gives them a really satisfying depth. Each bead is about 12mm, so they have a proper presence without being overwhelming, and you get six in a set.

The combination of that golden yellow and the earthy brown wash makes them feel naturally autumnal, though honestly they work just as well strung into a summery necklace or paired with greens and ambers for something more bohemian. They are the sort of bead that does a lot of the work for you, because the shape and colour are already so characterful.

Use them as feature beads in a bracelet, drop them into earrings for a bit of weight and warmth, or mix them with smaller spacers along a necklace strand. Made by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, as you would expect from a classic melon bead like this.
