Czech Glass Melon Beads: Yellow Ivory with Silver Finish (Pack of Ten)

These are 8mm fluted melon beads in a warm yellow ivory with a silver finish that gives them a slightly rustic, bohemian feel. The ribbed surface catches the light beautifully, and the combination of soft ivory and cool silver makes them surprisingly versatile - they sit just as happily in an earthy, natural design as they do in something a little more polished.

You get ten beads per pack, which is a nice amount to work with. They are a useful size for earrings, where a single bead can do a lot of the work, and they also string together really well for bracelets and necklaces, either on their own or mixed in with other Czech glass shapes.

If you already work with melon beads, you will know how well they play with seed beads, leaves and pressed flower beads. If you are new to them, this is a lovely shape to start with. Handcrafted by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic.
