Czech Glass Melon Drop Beads 13x8mm, Set of 6, Burgundy Red with Copper Wash

These are gorgeous little things. Each bead is a 13x8mm fluted melon drop in a deep, rich burgundy red, finished with a copper wash that gives it a warm, slightly rustic glow. The ribbed melon shape catches the light beautifully, and the teardrop profile makes them a natural choice for earrings, whether you hang them solo or layer them with other drops. They work just as well as pendant beads on a necklace, or dotted through a bracelet for a bit of depth and colour.

You get six beads per set, all handmade by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, so there may be the tiniest of variations between them. That is part of what makes them feel special rather than mass-produced.

The burgundy and copper combination sits really well alongside bronze findings, dark seed beads, or other earthy tones. A thoroughly useful bead to have in your collection.
