Czech Glass Melon Drop Beads | Lilac Thistle, Gold Wash | Fluted Teardrop Jewellery Making

These are Czech glass melon drop beads in a soft lilac thistle colour with a gold wash finish, and they are rather lovely. Each bead is a 15x8mm fluted teardrop shape, with those neat ridged grooves running down the length of it that catch the light in a gentle, understated way. The gold wash adds a warmth to the lilac that stops it feeling cold or flat, so you get something that sits nicely between delicate and a little bit boho.

They come in a pack of four, which makes them a natural choice for earrings, either as a single drop or layered with a smaller bead above. They work just as well strung into a necklace or used as a dangle on a bracelet charm.
