Czech Glass Melon Drop Beads | Yellow Beige Picasso, Blue Wash (Pack of 2)

These are a pack of two large Czech glass melon drop beads in a really lovely yellow beige Picasso finish with a soft blue wash over the fluting. The combination sounds unusual, but it works beautifully in person - the Picasso treatment gives the surface that earthy, slightly antique look, and the blue wash settles into the ridges to bring out all the texture of the fluted melon shape.

At 22x11mm they have a real presence, so they work especially well as earring drops or pendant beads where you want something with a bit of weight and character. You could pair them with warm neutral tones, dusty blues, or even a deep terracotta and they would sit happily in any of those palettes.

They are handcrafted by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, and as with all handmade glass beads there can be tiny variations between pieces, which is part of their charm. A genuinely versatile drop bead to have in your collection.
