Czech Glass Owl Beads: Scarlet Red with Gold Wash (Set of 6)

These little owl beads are a proper favourite here, and it is easy to see why. Each one is 14mm, made from Czech glass by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, and finished in a rich scarlet red with a warm gold wash that picks out all the detail in the moulded feathers and face. The vertical hole makes them very straightforward to work with, whether you are dropping them onto an earring wire or threading them into a bracelet alongside other beads.

You get six in a set, which is just right for a pair of earrings with a few left over to mix into a necklace or a charm bracelet. They pair nicely with deep amber, black or forest green beads if you want to lean into an autumnal, woodland feel, and the gold wash means they sit well next to warm metallic finishes too. A simple bead with a lot of character.
