Czech Glass Puffed Flower Beads – Deep Burgundy Red Gold Wash (14mm, Set of 5)

These are five Czech glass puffed flower beads in a deep burgundy red with a warm gold wash over the petals. The gold wash settles into the detail of the five-petal shape and gives each bead a rich, almost antique feel that catches the light really beautifully.

At 14mm they sit in that very useful middle ground - substantial enough to carry a pair of earrings on their own, and lovely strung along a bracelet or necklace where they become a repeating feature rather than just a focal point. They would sit particularly well alongside other warm tones, think amber, bronze, or deep green, or pair them with simple gold-tone findings to let the colour do the work.

These are handmade by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, so there may be slight variation between individual beads. That small amount of character is part of what makes them nice to work with.
