Czech Spiral Fossil Coin Beads, 18mm, Set of 4, Black Nebula

These are four Czech glass fossil coin beads in a deep, lustrous black with an iridescent high-shine finish that catches the light beautifully. The design is based on a spiral ammonite or nautilus shell, pressed into the glass so every curve and ridge is crisp and detailed. Each bead is around 18mm across and 4mm thick, with a single hole, so they sit neatly as a focal point on a necklace or as a statement drop in a pair of earrings.

The black nebula finish gives them a quality that works just as well with silver and gunmetal findings as it does with gold. They pair nicely with faceted glass beads, dark freshwater pearls, or a handful of smaller pressed Czech beads if you want to build up a layered piece.

These are handmade by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, and as with any handmade bead, there may be tiny variations between them. That is part of what makes them special.
