Czech Tulip Bud Flower Beads - Ladybug Red with Sapphire Blue Wash, Pack of Six (6) - Jewellery Making

These are Czech glass tulip bud beads in a rich ladybug red with a beautiful sapphire blue wash over the surface. The blue wash gives the red a real depth, catching the light in a way that a flat opaque bead simply doesn't. Each bead measures approximately 12x8mm, so they sit nicely as a feature bead in a pair of earrings or dotted along a bracelet between smaller spacers.

You get six beads in a pack, which is just right for a pair of drop earrings with a few spares, or for mixing into a longer necklace design. They pair well with other deep jewel tones, cobalt blue seed beads, or even a touch of gold. Made by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, they have that lovely hand-finished quality you notice as soon as you tip them out. A small bead with a lot of character.
