Laser Etched Czech Rectangle Beads: Matte Black Iris, Fern Leaf (2) 18x12mm

These are a lovely pair of laser etched Czech glass rectangle beads in a deep matte black with an iris finish that gives the surface a subtle, shifting iridescence. The fern leaf design is etched right into the glass, so it stays crisp and won't rub away with wear. Because these are handmade, there can be tiny differences between the two beads, but that is part of what makes them feel genuinely crafted rather than mass-produced.

At 18x12mm they are a good substantial size, and the combination of the matte black base and that botanical motif makes them feel quite striking without being fussy. They work beautifully as earring drops on their own, or you could use them as feature beads in a bracelet or necklace where you want something a bit different. These are a rare UK import and not easy to come by, made by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic.
