Matte Orange Czech Glass Coin Beads, Laser Etched Flower (17mm, Set of 2)

These are lovely things. Each one is a 17mm matte orange disc bead with a laser etched flower motif that does something a little magical depending on the light - it shifts between a soft pink and a cool green, with a shimmer that catches you off guard against the matte finish of the base. It's a really nice contrast, that quiet surface with the iridescent detail sitting on top of it.

You get two beads per set, handmade by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, so there may be tiny variations between them. That's the nature of handmade glass, and honestly it adds to the charm rather than taking anything away.

They're a fairly rare UK import and not easy to come by. As a pair they're a natural fit for earrings, or you could use one as a feature bead on a bracelet or necklace where it can really draw the eye. A versatile little bead with a lot of personality.
