Sky Blue Czech Glass Crown Beads, Gold Wash, Etched Finish, (Set of Two)

These are a real find if you love a chunky, characterful bead. Each crown bead measures 13x15mm, so they have a lovely substantial feel in the hand, and that combination of sky blue glass, gold wash, and etched finish gives them a vintage, almost antique quality that plain beads just cannot match.

You get two beads per set, which makes them perfect as a matched pair for earrings, or as twin focal points either side of a centrepiece on a necklace or bracelet. The etched surface catches the light in a soft, muted way rather than a flashy sparkle, so they sit beautifully alongside other bohemian-style beads, natural stone, or wooden components.

They are made by artisan glassworkers in the Czech Republic, and the craftsmanship really does show in the detail of the crown shape. If you are building a statement piece and want something a little different from the usual round or rondelle, these are well worth considering.
